Levana® Amara™, Video Baby Monitor, 7” Touchscreen, 2 Cameras

I got this as a baby shower gift about a month ago. I can't believe how large and clear the screen is. Having the 7" screen is really nice, compared to other smaller screens that I've seen, it is great being able to hold the screen in your hand and get a clear, large image of the baby (almost the size of an iPad!). I think the battery life on this monitor is fantastic. I feel like I never have to charge it! Top it all off, the sound quality is great - even if the baby stirs gently I hear it. Before requesting this specific video monitor I did a lot of research and Levana by far got the best reviews for battery life, range and visibility. I look forward to using my monitor for years to come! Highly recommended!

I bought this camera a few weeks ago and so far it has worked great. The setup was very easy and it was easy to mount it to the wall. I love the split screen view so that I can see both my babies at the same time. I do not like that the camera can not rotate while it is mounted on the wall. Also, the battery does not seem to last long. I charge it all night long then always have to recharge once during the day to make it to bedtime.

Good monitor, love that it is touch screen. I also really like the split screen view when you have 2 cameras. Night vision could be a little bit better. I also wish the volume was more adjustable, it is still a little too loud even on the lowest setting.

I recieved this as a gift. It works great and does what you need. However, technology has improved so much that given what the product does, you could make your own baby monitor with a webcam that feeds directly to your cell phone. So, quality is great but technology is a bit behind.

I bought this monitor system about 2 weeks ago and so far we are happy with the system. The quality of the picture is like SD not HD picture quality but we can see our child just fine. The night vision is good we can see what our child is doing no matter what time of the night it is. The reason I gave it 4 Stars is when you mount the camera you can only adjust the camera head left to right not up and down. When you zoom in the area you can see is very limited but we are watching our son in his crib so we don’t need to see the entire room. The sound quality is good a little loud at times but we hear him just fine. We love the fact we can talk to our son through the monitor, actually we talk to our Amazon Echo to play songs for our son through the monitor which is cool. All in all a good Purchase for the price you pay. We are happy with the functionality of the product a few things they could do better but overall we give it a 4 out of 5.
