Lever 2000 Bar Soap Original 4 oz, 2 Bar

My husband has used Lever 2000 original soap for over 20 years, but the new scent is absolutely horrendous. I don't know how you can say you didn't change the scent because it's very obvious it's not the same. The new scent is very floral-I don't know what man would want to use it, and I certainly wouldn't use it myself because it stinks. Just sitting in the shower, the heavy floral perfume fragrance overpowers the entire bathroom, so much so that it gives me an allergic reaction. You ruined a great soap and for no reason. Too bad you're losing customers over a nonsensical change like this- we will be joining the ranks and switching brands. Bye-bye Lever2000!

What happened to this GREAT soap? I have been using the Lever brand for many many years and loved it, but what happened ? I just purchased this package and used the first bar and after two times the bar split almost in half ( picture included ). I thought that it was a fluke and took out a second bar and after one use it was starting to crack ( picture included ) also both bars are starting to flake badly to. Lever needs to do something about this cause I do not want to leave a negative review, I love this brand and like I said before that I have been using Lever for many years. Please do something to fix this.

I have been a regular consumer of the Original scent for at least 25 years, maybe more. I started noticing the change about 2 years ago when the packaging changed from the box to plastic packaging. The scent changed, not drastically, but changed. It no longer had the same lather either. I could deal with that. I haven't bought any in quite sometime as I had about a 6 month supply. Last week I ran out and had to buy some more. Well, the smell is HORRIBLE! I can't even identify what it is except HORRIBLE! I will be returning the other 2 eight packs and will not use this soap again until the ORIGINAL scent returns! EPIC FAIL Uniliver!!!

I've used Lever 2000 original since the 90's and I love it.... unfortunately I just bought a new batch and something has changed with the scent and I do NOT like it. Why fix something that isn't broken? Makes no sense, especially considering that most people are getting away from bar soap in favor of body wash. Please bring back the original, this reminds me of the silly “new coke formula” failure from the 80's. Ask coca-cola how that worked out for them, Unilever.

I have always used Lever 2000 since it was first released in stores. I have always loved it until recently when a "New formula" came out. I thought at first that the soap was the same just the packaging was different, but I was very wrong. The new formula has virtually no scent and will not lather up on a washcloth. It is like it is coated in something that will not let the bar of soap slide and lather up on my washcloth and it is not much better if just using my hands. It takes much longer to shower now due to having to relather my washcloth 3 and 4 times to wash my body. I will not be buying anymore of this product unless it returns to its original formula.
