LG - 27.1 cu ft Side by Side Refrigerator with Door in Door, Craft Ice, and Smart Wi-Fi - Stainless steel

I bought this when my old fridge died. I love the size and the side by side doors. The different ice options are a nice feature. I didn't think that we would use it but we do. The bigger ice keeps water bottles cold for longer. I am glad we bought this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned our LG LRSDS2706S for a little over 2 years. I am pleased with how much space the refrigerator and freezer offer and it looks nice. That is where the positives end. The craft ice maker stopped working after 10 months. We had it repaired under warranty, and it stopped working again 8 months later. We have not had craft ice since. About 2 weeks ago the regular ice maker began to have issues, so now we are stuck trying to troubleshoot that while taking up space in the freezer with ice trays. Within the first year of owning the refrigerator, one of my children dropped a tub of yogurt and hit the glass shelf that covered the bottom drawer. It shattered everywhere. LG used to be our go to brand, but considering the issues we have had with this refrigerator, and also our two year old LG dryer drum splitting, it seems that it is time to find a new appliance brand. I don't know what happened, but LG is no longer reliable and that's a sad thing to see.

I bought this 1 yr 5 months ago. Pro it's like a Tardis. It holds an immense amount. Keeps everything cool or frozen. Cons Design flaw on crisper drawer, it's top is glass and sticks out past the shelves. We broke it in a week. LG replaced it. 3 months later the Craft Ice maker quit. LG replaced it. At 1 yr 5 month mark the compressor quit. LG replaced it. Excellent customer service, something I didn't want to personally find out about.

Poor Door design using plastic clip to latch door that is used multiple times per day. When clip breaks whole door needs to be replaced. LG could've put a metal clip instead of cheap breakable plastic. Or make replacement part instead of replacing whole door. Way to go LG

We bought this at the end of October 2022 and had to wait until more of them were in stock. It was delivered in December. The refrigerator was a great selection! The features are all very good and it has worked well. The craft ice is a nice feature, and those ice balls will last all day in our water cups. The only issue is that the half fridge door will not close on its own by letting it go. You have to physically close the door as it is not heavy enough to close by itself. Not really a big issue but it is something we have had to get used to doing. Overall, I would recommend the fridge!
