[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you turn on the TV you will notice the picture quality and brightness, everything is sharp and vibrant and what you would expect from 8K, it looks great, simple to set up and easy to learn it's workings. The TV came in great packaging that if you reassemble, you can use to support it standing up while you attach the stand etc. Couldn't help but be super nervous as the stand just doesn't look like it can support a TV so big, but it does the job. Picture quality is simply unreal. Black to my mind is excellent. This tv has great audio and visual quality, we haven't bothered to get any sound support. if you are on the fence about this tv then jump off... it's expensive but you do get what you pay for. The only downsides: - expensive - built-in streaming clients don't support 8k content. this is particularly annoying since youtube is one of the few places to get 8k content currently, and i had to use my gaming pc to view it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 75QNED99 is definitely a huge upgrade from our previous tv. We upgraded from a 65” TV and I was really shocked when compared them side by side, the 75” really does make a big difference. So unless wall mounted, make sure you have a big enough tv stand to support this giant. I was sceptical of 8k televisions since there isn't a lot of native 8k content out there but this TV does an amazing job at upscaling, always providing a crystal clear image. It also offers great sound quality with the AI Sound Pro settings turned on, making action movies and games more immersive. Speaking of games, thanks to the high refresh rate and vivid colours, this LG TV helps tremendously with making games feel more lively and fluid. Not to mention the brilliant game optimiser which helps reduce latency and allows users to change various settings such as black/white stabilisers. The only thing which left me wanting a little bit more was the contrast, however there are many settings and smart picture modes allowing even the pickiest of users to find the right settings for themselves.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start off by saying I am a big fan of the am blight visual amusement you feel, however, the LG Qned Mini LED image quality is truly next-generation due to Real 8K Finally loading up a TV that displays the true potential of the new gaming consoles confirms that LG and their Game Optimizer have worked wonders. The depths of the blacks alone are something I have never experienced before. From the initial unboxing, ease of setup, gaming style menus, and comfortable remote, I would happily recommend this TV for the average person, and it's a no-brainer for gamers. I like the super slim design, biggest 86-inch Ultra-Large Screen TV hangs beautifully on the wall too. I like the voice activation, especially for those who have difficulty using the remote. The broadcasting system is really useful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having received the (larger than life!) product & testing it for 3 days in full (at least 10 hour usage with multiple platforms for input) I would review this product as saying it feels fairly similar to my previous 4K UHD LG TV purchased in 2017. The Dolby Atmos can only really be utilised with a good quality surround sound set up (as the TV doesn't seem to have any inbuilt subwoofer) & the multiple options for TV modes can somewhat be, over complicated. I have tried different settings with Apple Tv, Xbox Series X & direct apps built in to the TV (webOs) however the quality (due to the input) can not really be judged at full 8k (as many providers & software do not yet output at this). I am also not as impressed as I would have expected to be (baring in mind the true price of this product) with the ‘Quantum Dot Nano Cell' tech- or MiniLed. Overal the picture is great, and due to the size of the screen it really makes it feel like cinema (for everyday programmes & sport). The dark scenes are truly dark & the picture is crystal clear on majority of the settings / input formats tested so far. Gaming feels great (although again, can't seem to access any 8k content as of yet (although the Dolby vision has enhanced both Xbox series x Nintendo switch ‘experience ‘- especially with the size(!) In terms of ‘out the box' it was quite an effort for x2 delivery drivers as well as x2 adults trying to assemble. As with many LG ‘stands' you want to make sure the product is as secure as possible (with fully screwing in the heavy base) prior to finding a table to fit the width & depth for such a heavy item(!) I think the software & user experience within the LG TV could be a bit more user friendly, and even have refreshability / demonstration modes to really ‘show off' the full capability of the TV. I think as a 3-10 year investment, this TV will only get better over time, with the better / upgraded support in the UK for 8k input & streaming.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After Losing my last TV to a Dog vs on screen squirrel altercation at the start of Lockdown I had been on the look out for something to take my viewing experience to the next level. This TV is packed with great features and is really intuitive. The "magic remote" pointer is exceptional and it makes connecting to all of your different on demand services a breeze. Picture quality is incredibly sharp and the viewing angle is great which is important as we have a large room. This isn't a "cheap" TV but in terms of bang for your buck it is definitely worth the investment. Needless to say this one will be being wall mounted!
