LG - 800 Sq. Ft. 14,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner - White

I splurged for the 'dual inverter' because it was listed as cooling 800sqft, while the cheap lg 14,000btu unit only did 700sqft. the boxes arrived today- it only does 700sqft. Says 700sqft right on the box. why everything in the description says 800 i have no clue. Just making things up?

It does cool nicely and the noise is a different sound and not so loud. When you start the setup instructions it looks very complicated on paper just take depp breath and time and it will turn out right. Besure and anchor sill supports from inside cabinet and don't think you can do them from outside the cabinet after installing the insert.

Website said unit is 15" high. could not find window dimensions on website. My window opens 15-1/4" so I ordered it. The box had diminsions on outside stating window opening must be 16", so I did not even open the box. I called support and they said I could return it to any store. I took it to local store and their computers for that were down, went to next Walmart and as they processed it, the barcode did not match my ticket, main office could not remedy so the agent asked me to ship it back, Fed Ex I think. Closest branch capable of doing it was 16 miles away with no phone number I could find. went there the next day and they could not print the label I needed. Went to Main Terminal about another 15 miles and they were able to ship it. Waited about 30 days for my refund, then called Support. After explaining things a couple of times they found my ticket and said it was being processed. Called them about a week later explaning my dilemma and they said it is being processed. Here it is 52 days since Walmart received the AC in South Carolina, and Walmart still has not credited my PayPal account. And I did not even open the box ! How hard is it to refund someone's money?

Arrived at my house damaged.I had also purchased the installation of the unit through Walmart only to find out they do not install in my area after a week of rescheduling.Very poor customer service and constant phone calls trying to resolve issues.Item is being returned for a refund that will take 10 days after it is returned for a refund.Item has great reviews but I was never able to try it.

All went very smoothly. Had a delivery issue because the carrier left my a/c in the lobby abandoning the package and not bringing it up to my apartment. Also, the a/c came with dents on the body but when I called a customer service all had been resolved quickly.
