LG - 8x External USB 2.0 Double-Layer DVD±RW/±R/-RAM/CD-RW Drive - Black

This worked fine until it did not. Now when I try to burn a cd, it will usually say insert a blank cd. Sometimes the cd will be recognized after opening and closing many times. It usually just spins for a couple minutes and then stops. If the cd ever gets recognized it will spin much faster. I will probably buy another device. Minimal directions and no hints/suggestions if it doesn't work. Only big disclosures saying it doesn't work on all TVs. Well, I have a brand new smart TV. Why it wouldn't work is beyond me

Works just as needed. Just plugged it in and that was it. Got it for my custom build (W10) and barely notice it sitting on top. Only 'eh' problem is that its a popout tray which has fragility issues over time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this a week ago and had already burnt some 10 DVDs with it. It is indeed noise-less and very light-weight and that's where my problem is too.. The product is very prone to damage as the plastic feels flimsy and easily bendable. That is the only con. I love that it requires only one USB port and not two like some other brands.
