[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG is sitting on a gold mine and don't know it. My VN220 only needs some simple improvements to make it a leader in flip phone technology. There is a movement out there for smaller phones in general but especially for flip phones.Suggested improvements include; better camera quality, update WiFi to reconnect automatically to home network, create talk-to-text feature for messaging, improve battery life and lastly add an Auto Answer feature to incoming phone calls by simply opening the phone. LG could be a leader in the type product.
This is the second LG VN220 I have and it is once again cracking very fast. Obviously there is something wrong with the design if even after being very careful with it is still cracks. Both times the hinge cracked making the phone unable to open and close and therefore unusable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this phone because it was a flip. At first the battery would last two or three days. I have only had it for little over a month and the battery will not even last twelve hours!!! I don't want internet, I don't want anything except to say hello and goodbye. This sucks! If I could I would return it. I would give it a zero if I could. My husband still has the old version of this phone and I had the old version for around 8 years. Great phone, should have never changed anything.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this phone on saturday to upgrade from my old phone for camera and a few other things. My old lg supported mms messaging. On this new exalt vn220 I can create groups and add names from my master contact list. But, when I try to send there isn't any send button. the send field at the top of the message screen goes plant, but when I type one of the sections under my group Isay client I type it in and it shows up with names I added. But I can't send it. someone told me that this new phone vn220 doesn't support mms. Kinda hard for me to believe. Can I add MMS to my new phone? Thanks Fred
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my Octane which I loved but had over a decade and it was archaic and then dead and not 4G. Everytime I pick it up either the video starts or the volume goes down and was mystified at that one. It takes takes more stupid clicks to do things than the octane like manage messages etc. Can't get new ringtones for callers only songs I hear here. The battery drains so FAST! If I am on hold for a customer service/support person the battery goes down to nothing. I am old. My son got me a smart phone but unremovable icons and these old shaking fingers made it an impossible disaster. I WANT MY QWERTY KB BACK! I think you are missing a highly sellable demographic with us old folks. I hate this phone
