LG Optimus Fuel L34c Straight Talk Android Cellular Smart Phone

You're obviously here because you're shopping for a cheap and decent smartphone, so let me save you the trouble of deciding... **********GET THIS PHONE!!!********** If that wasn't enough to convince you to buy it, then please read on... I've been wanting to get back into the smartphone world again (after taking a two-year flip-phone hiatus) and I couldn't ask for a better phone than the LG Optimus Fuel. I am no stranger to high-end smartphones, but I was tired of the $$$. Do you have the same problem? Well, this phone is the answer, bar none! The LG Optimus Fuel has great battery life, decent system memory, and the home button has a multi-color LED for alarms and notifications which looks really nifty. It has a dual core processor, which makes for near-zero lag, though the phone cannot hold a lot of apps without affecting performance. Currently, I only have maybe 5 or 6 on it that I rarely use (mostly use Facebook), but it runs fine. I tried loading it down with a bunch of apps I had previously purchased on Google Play, and the phone did get a bit sluggish after about 10 apps and a couple games, so I went back to bare minimum. This phone comes outfitted with Google apps like Hangouts, Google+, etc., but other than that, there is ZERO bloatware (which was shocking as I've never owned a phone with ZERO bloatware). I've actually found a couple of the Google apps quite useful like Picasa and Polaris Viewer (neither of which I knew about until I got this phone). The only complaint I have with the phone is that there are two dead pixels that were there out-of-box. However, they can only be seen in low light situations. It's a manufacture defect, so I'll exchange it for another one some day, but I can more than handle that one little flaw for now. Dead pixels drive me mad, but I barely notice them on the phone now—it's just too cool! Overall, you couldn't find a better phone for even double the price of this one. 'Nuff said.

It is MUCH easier to set-up and use than my 1st phone. If you are an "Old Guy" like me, you will most likely find this phone fits your needs. You may still need a 14 year old to help you with some of the more advance features... but this is a LOT OF PHONE FOR THE $$$.

Got this for my daughter. She has had phones from iphone 4s to ZTE majesty (this was her favorite). This was to be a 'temporary' phone to replace one that someone else broke. Anyway, except for smaller size and no front camera, this has been an amazing phone. PLUS, at only $30 bucks, android 4.4.... how can you NOT like it! She says everything works very well.

Many folks dont need the top of the line phone; making calls and some texting is all my parents need so this issperfect. Setup thwir own Google accounts and installed Smart launcher to simplify the interface and their off and running. This phone will activate on other Verizon MVNO with pay as you go plans.

I picked up this phone when it is released 2 months ago. I was impressed how good of a phone it is. It is using Verizon towers and the over all performance is fast and the screen is clear and crisp. Only three small problems I see is that it lacks 500 mb more system memory, a front facing camera, and screen size (3.5 is the lowest for usability). Wifi, 3G, and GPS work great in Scottsdale AZ. I would recommend this phone to anyone and it is just as good as any contract starter free phone with out the contract. Price and service are well worth the small investment. I'll use this until the S3-5 come way down in price. This is the best phone on Straight Talk with the exception of S3-5's.
