A decent enough cheaper qwerty keypad phone. However, if you don't want to kill the phone, do not use the notepad tool feature. There is a glitch (known since at least Sept. 2010, based on forum comments, other reviews, etc.) that will kill the phone. If notepad is accessed the phone freezes up. After pulling the battery, as one does if a phone freezes, and reinstalling it the phone will not power on fully. It will just keep flashing "hello" and nothing else. There is no fix. Did not discover this issue until after it happened and did some research. Fortunately the phone was still under warranty (only had it for 6 months) and it was replaced. Best to avoid the issue altogether and DON'T USE THE NOTEPAD TOOL.

LOVE THIS PHONE ! It is durable, compact and has a slide out keyboard, perfecting for texting. The plan by Virgin is top notch and a deal at only $25 a month for unlimited texting, web and about 300 voice minutes. I highly recommend this phone for texting purposes. Great buy! I have one of these phones myself for over a year now and just love it! I purchased the Rumor2 for my husband, it was on sale for a great price and I know he would love it as much as I do. i was right, It is easy to use, love the Mini Opera internet feature and of course the keyboard makes it so easy and fast to text. I have to say, even the pictures come out great!

I wasn't sure what to expect before I purchased these phones but I was presently surprised when I got know them. My daughter feels like we've finally joined the 21st century. While the print is small for my eyes, the phone serves its' purpose as an inexpensive way to talk, text and explore the web. The instruction manual is available online (only).

My 11 year old daughter says it's hands down the best christmas gift ever! Bought on-line and saved $30 from the in store price and saved $40 from the Vigin Mobile website! $25 a month gives her unlimited texting, unlimited internet, and 300 anytime minutes. Great camera built in that is easy to up load pictures to Facebook. This frees up time on our home computer. This is relatively inexpensive for a first time cell phone. I definately recommend this product.
