The filter was simple and straightforward to install. After we ran through the 2 gallon cleaning cycle, we poured out water to drink and it tasted great. The filter was almost too simple to install -- take off the cap, insert it into the outlet in the fridge and twist in. The lock is not a tight fit, so don't expect it to be! We are pleased with the filter and water quality.

Due to the design of my refrigerator this filter is very labor intensive to change. The top shelf has to be removed to get the filter out , but the top shelf bumps into the filter as you are trying to get it out, and the filter can't be removed without removing the shelf .

I bought this a year ago, loved it when I bought it and love it even more now. It is very nice looking and so much easier to keep clean than plain stainless steel. Nice features, love the dual icemakers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The filter unit appears to provide clean drinking water which saves the filtered water apparatus on or below the sink, even garage super gadgets.
