LG VN251 Cosmos 3, Silver (Verizon)

This phone is excellent for my life style and the area I live in. I work on our family ranch and am constantly away from the houses checking and working with the animals. This simple little phone picks up and keeps service much better than the "better smart phones." The camera is a bit disappointing but I love the slide out key board. The phone is compact and not bulky like the newer phones so it doesn't get in my way and I am not as worried about breaking it. One less thing to worry about, these phones are meant to last. I am on my second one but not because the other broke, I lost it moving cattle. But I highly recommend this phone and am totally bummed that they have been discontinued! Bring it back, it works great when the fancier ones have trouble finding service! When I am miles away from the house and have an emergency this phone has not let me down! I got this phone back in high-school about 5 years ago, and it still works to this day. It's better new phones being made today, as this one was made to last a long time. I would have given it 5 stars; if it had more ways to unlock the password when you forget the phone number (I could factory reset it, but I don't want to lose any pictures I have on it).

I have had my phone for at least 4 years and this is the style that works best for this old guy. Buttons are better than swipe phones. My phone has survived a trip thru the washing machine and a battery that failed and overheated. The Cosmos needs to return because of the 4 row keypad and ease of use by people that do not want an internet phone or a flop phone that you have to hit a key 3 times to get the correct letter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The phone has all the features I need plus an incredible battery life, I charge the phone once a week and runs from 5 to 7 days to reach the half full mark.

The slide-out keyboard makes texting, entering information into your Contacts, etc. easy. I like the Contacts I.C.E. feature (In case of emergency) and personal info screen. Since I have medical issues, that's reassuring. I do not have a data plan, which means that when I want some peace and quiet, I don't have to worry about getting e-mails or being tempted to surf the web in bed, as some of my friends do! Love the camera and having it with me all the time. The keys are rather small, but I press them with my nails, and that works fine.
