Lincoln Logs - Little Prairie Farmhouse - Pink

This toy definitely keeps my daughter occupied and it's a break from your average Lego building blocks. It's great to see her enjoy a toy I also had growing up!

Bought this set for our granddaughter and know she will love it. Fun themed pink "girly" building set.

The age range is 3 and up but I woud change to ages 5 and up because the builders need patience and skill putting the houses and structures together. Smaller children will get frustrated and even for 5 year olds, patience is just beginning. There are easy instruction pictures to follow and kids will have fun building. I am glad that there is a nice set for girls who like to build as much as boys. I would purchase as a gift for kids 5 and up.

Lincoln logs were a favorite of mine from childhood! When I saw them in pink with a little village woman, horses, a farm house, barn & all the accessories I knew I had to introduce my daughters to the wonderfulness of Lincoln Logs! My eight year old was so very excited seeing the horses & immediately sitting down to build her farm! Even my ten year old sat down to see where her imagination would take her! The logs are easy to put together & build to the hearts content & have given my girls many hours of fun! I like how they come in a container to store them in also so that clean up is quick & easy. I do miss some of the features of the old Lincoln logs like the flat roof pieces but Lincoln logs for Girls are a definite win!!

My three year old daughter enjoys playing with the Lincoln Logs Little Prairie Farmhouse as much as I enjoyed playing with Lincoln logs when I was a little girl. This Lincoln Logs Little Prairie Farmhouse comes with two horse figures, a little prairie girl figure, and other cute accessories. It was really fun for us as a family to look at the guide and create a little log cabin scene for the figures to play in. I am not sure who had more fun. My three year old daughter or her dad. The logs are very sturdy, and the accessories are also well made. I also like that the box that the Lincoln Logs Little Prairie Farmhouse comes in doubles as a storage case for the set. The pink plastic lid makes it an ideal storage container. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who wants their child to have imaginative play. In this day and age too many children are "plugged in" to devices or battery operated toys. The Lincoln Logs Little Prairie Farmhouse gives little ones a chance to unplug, and just have fun using their imaginations. I plan on buying at least one more set for my one year old son when he gets older.
