Little Tikes Lightening Mcqueen Bed

I read all the reviews and I pretty much agree with the majority of folks on here. #1. The box the bed comes in is HUGE! #2. It's worth every penny just to see the joy in your child's eyes! It was love at first sight for my son when he saw his bed. #3. Please take the advice of using Windex when placing the stickers!!! I used a twin box-spring and mattress and everything fits perfectly. I have no complaints when it comes to this awesome bed.

First of all, this bed is huge. I have a hyundai sonata and chose the site to store option to save the $40. In order to bring it home, I had to take the parts out of the box in the walmart parking lot. Even then I had to put the seats down and ended up driving with the two side boards sticking out the back. Assembly is okay as far as little tykes goes. 4 screws have holes and 4 do not. My wife had to push on the sides while I screwed in the other 4. The stickers are insane. The windex trick works!! You do NOT want to try to put these stickers on without spraying the surface with windex first. You'll make a ton of adjustments and spraying first will save your life. However, no matter how many times I tried I couldn't get the stupid flame stickers to line up correctly. The big flame on the side comes in 4 pieces that look like they're supposed to fit together, but they just don't. It drove me crazy, since I was trying to make it perfect in hopes my son will sleep in this bed for at least the next 10 years. I decided to get just a mattress in hopes that the wooden supports could hold it up. That was wrong. It comes with 3 1x2 wood slats. However they won't hold up a mattress by itself, so a plywood board or boxspring is required. However, in our situation we just put the mattress on the floor and it turns it into a mini crib. Since my son just graduated from a crib it's kind of a fun step for him. We'll go with a board soon, but he kind of likes playing "inside" the car for now.

The bed was very easy to assemble. The decals were a little tricky though. My 2 year old loves it and slept in it the first night. Don't forget, if you do not use box springs, you must have a 3/4" board to place in the bottom of the bed on top of the wood slats that are provided.

when i got this car for my 2 year old son he was very exited and he want to fix right away. and he want to sleep on it . he keep asking why this is not mooving. so my hubby fix this one it takes almost 3 hours. to put it in it takes 30 minutes to put the stickers it takes long time.but it is worth to buy to see any happyness of your child eyes.

My 2 1/2 year old son absolutely loves his new race car bed. With the impending arrival of his new sibling we decided to move him into a new bed so we can have the crib for the new baby. He loves his new room and the freedom of a big boy bed. Took a couple of weeks for him to get used to it but he loves it!! Stickers are a little tough to apply, I recommend using a light soap/water mixture with a spray bottle. A little on the decal a little on the plastic, so u can position them easily then use a credit card to smooth out the bubbles.
