Little Tikes School Bus Activity Gym

My son is OBSESSED with busses, so we bought him this for Easter. He loves it. Wish the slide was a bit longer, but it's ok. I've never put anything like this together and I've never used a drill. I assembled it by myself and thought it was very easy, just took a little while. Based on some reviews I read, I was expecting it to be difficult.

Many manufacture errors , when putting together , my husband and i had a difficult time lining up the end pieces. It was warped and extra plastic on some of the slots. My 1 yr old loves it, but i have to be careful, it is too big for her, even tho the website said 1yr and up, box states 1 1/2 yr.

Overall, I am pleased with this product and my son enjoys it, which is the most important thing. However, assembly was quite difficult and time-consuming. Additionally, the pictures and description were misleading in the fact that I assumed you could manually move the toy but it is stationary.

Love the bus; hate the assembly. We used an electric screw driver, but it was not heavy duty enough. If my husband was not very strong this would not have gotten together. As it is, some of the pieces did not go together as securely as they should have. The directions were not as clear as they might have been. No holes in several of the pieces that were expected to be screwed together. My husband and I have put together other toys, exercise equipment, furniture, grills, etc. We have never had as much trouble as we had with this bus. My granddaughter is autistic and loves the same bus in her classroom. Had I not known that it would be a Santa hit, I would have stuck it back in the box and taken it back to Wal-Mart.

My son loved this bus. He tries to climb up the slide and then he pushes his toys down the slide. It has occupied him for at least 30-60 minutes at a time. The 10 month olds at the party were also loving this bus. And of course the 4 year old played with it too! I love an activity toy that he can play with for at least a year or two, and maybe longer depending on how much he grows. My husband seemed to think that it was unnecessary to have every hole be pre-drilled. The key looks like it may break off at some point, but for now it is ok. I would not recommend this product for a 3 year because of height, but it is perfect for a young toddler. And yes you will need a drill for ease of assembly.
