The product covered the gray and/ roots very easily with little to no mess. However, this specific color was a bit darker than I expected. I will still purchase again between salon appointments, but order a shade lighter. L”Oreal root touch up did seem like magic . ( a fairy Godmother when I noticed my roots a few hours before a social event. lol) I would recommend it.

This product smells good and gives me a little extra time between colorings by darkening my roots and covering my grey growth fully. Hair feels quite natural with the product applied and provides root texture if applied a bit heavier which adds a bit of volume. Recommend!

I used to have fine "dirty blond" hair that is now mostly turning gray and thinning at the crown. My roots were showing badly and I couldn't get them fixed for a couple more weeks. My sister suggested this product and it was amazing. It not only covered my roots, but it gave body to the thin hair that remained and made it look thicker and nicer. I'm totally sold on it. It does wash out when you shampoo but is quickly and easily re-applied when my hair is dry. I may use it even when not needed for color just to give my hair more body. Great product.

These are a lifesaver when I don't have the time, or the desire to do a full color job on my roots. The color blends well into my brown hair. I do believe that the price is far too expensive. The can is very small. But, I guess that's the price you pay for beauty lol.

It does the job and covers my gray roots nicely, but it goes on sticky and stiff like hairspray. Hair feels gross to the touch. This may be typical for all of these types of sprays, as this is the first and only can or type of cover up spray I have ever used. I would buy it again though if I need to cover my grays between hair appts because it does work very well.
