L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair Color, 5G Medium Golden Brown

This is one of the worst hair Color I have come across in the last few years. There is a very strong presence of ammonia, which one can figure out from the smell. Quality of the Color also seems poor as post application , gray strands were still visible. Will neither recommend nor purchase in future

I was born a platinum blonde, at age 5 It began turning a red tint, and by 13 it was fully pale strawberry blonde and remains that to this day. This particular color formula is the closest match I've ever found for covering my few grays. It's probably the first time I've ever found a color that even I cannot tell I colored it at all. Only difference after coloring is my temple grays and stray grays are gone but my hair color looks the same as before I colored it. I admit I'm kind of spoiled now and I hope they never discontinue this one. Every other red or strawberry blond is way too dark or way too red or both. This one is just spot on perfect in my opinion for those with very light or pale strawberry blonde hair. I don't write many reviews but just had to for this item.

I'm growing my hair out from salon-color to its natural gray. My grizzled gray roots are a huge eyesore. This product is a great for the transition. Looks natural and blends eell with my chunky highlights. I withheld a star because I found it difficult to control the force of the spray.

Been buying this for years. I use it when I wear my hair pulled back as all of my gray is in front along hairline. Some practice is needed for hairline. I cut piece of thin flexible plastic opaque cutting board in shape of my scalp-line as block when spraying and then use Q-tips in some rubbing alcohol to remove any that got on my forehead. Wait to put on makeup until after spraying this. I live in Florida and have never experienced any stained runoff from normal sweating.

If your looking for a professional color this is it. I get multiple compliments and have hairdressers ask me where I get my coloring done. You will not be disappointed with this color or the way it leaves your hair, soft and shiny.
