L'Oreal Paris Infallible Total Cover Concealing and Contour Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loreal total contour kit I'm not going to lie it is pretty good to use to spot conceal and conceal but there are a few cons. So let me first start off by saying there is a #1 conceal on the pinky shade side #2 peachyer tone side #3 yellow tone side and #4 orangey tone side for contouring. So I use the first and third shade for concealing. And the second shade for cover correcting and other little blemishes peeping through I must say I do like the concealers it does brighten under my eyes. The cons is that the contour shade I don't find it using as contour shade maybe a blush shade but not contour. But, it's all based on preference and I must say I enjoy this palette even though I layered another brand concealer over top or the loreal concealers. I did try these concealers alone I set it and they did crease a little nothing so crazy. Will i purchase this concealer maybe not because I have other concealers that I absolutely love it if you are on a budget this will be a perfect concealing and contour palette for you.

It features 4 shades, light to dark, and a sponge to apply. On the back there are instructions that provide a visual on how to use which is lovely. I use this product daily. I am truly impressed. It does not crease and lasts all day! I love the effect it gives off. I recommend this product to all my friends and family who love makeup. I do not need to buy other concealers or contour kits. This is it for me. Must try for yourself. You will not regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never contoured before, so I'll be the first to admit that I was feeling majorly intimidated before using the L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Conceal & Contour Kit. To my relief, there are illustrations on the package that guide you on where to apply the product! I followed the guidelines and the process was very simple! I was happy with the results!! My skin looked clearer, more radiant and it definitely gave my finished face a look that I usually only achieve by getting my makeup done professionally. The only complaint I have is that, having very fair skin, most of the colors were a little too dark. While I blended well, I still noticed a little too much darkness on my chin. With practice, though, I'm sure I can blend the shades more true to my coloring!

It blended almost too well and I had to keep applying because it would disappear! It also felt really heavy on my skin, which is a deal breaker for me, even with only a light amount applied. It looked great once I was able to get it to work for me but I contouring is hard enough even with a well performing product so this one was a bit of a dud for me. I did like the packaging and the instructions on the back were helpful. The applicator sponge was so small and awkward when use, it felt like more of an after thought because if anyone with average sized fingers didn't struggle with it I'd be surprised. There are lots of great options for cream contour but for me this one missed the mark.

The colors worked very well with my fair complexion and combination skin. I must admit that I am brand new to the concept of contouring and felt a bit intimidated at first. As soon as I opened the sleek packaging (which is the perfect size for my makeup bag) I grabbed the applicator sponge and flipped the palette over. I followed the detailed instructions on the back using each color (even the dark one) as the diagram shows using every corner of the provided square shaped sponge. A little bit goes a long way and glides on very smoothly. Although, the sponge provided was perfect for applying each color, I found it wasn't enough to get the complete contouring job done. I reached for my trusty blender bud and achieved my desired look. A little finishing powder set my makeup and gave me complete confidence for my day. The palette concealed my blemishes and didn't melt or leave me feeling weighed down. I will be purchasing this again!
