I noticed a difference in smoother idling and a little more performance, overall good stuff.
My 1963 Corvette does not have any engine knocking and shuts down when key tuned off.
I wasn't sure about how these products worked. Id heard about boosters when I was younger but hadn't thought much about them lately. I usually use gasoline that has cleaners etc. and thought that was enough. I noticed lately that the quick spunky feeling my car gets on a new tank of gas wasn't lasting as long so I thought id try this product. It definitely made a big difference. I could still tell the difference in my cars pick up down till almost half a tank. I think I just got used to difference after that. I'm going to try it again just to be sure that it wasn't a fluke or a placebo in my mind but I don't think so. FYI, my first ride after refilling my tank with the booster was on a 56 degree morning.
Well -I can only say it seems to work. I have a 2004 chevy silverado 1500 with a 5.3 v8. I poured the whole bottle in at fill up and made a trip about one hundred and fifty miles and that included a trip over the mountain and back almost five thousand feet about seven miles to the top. I think that the octane additive made the engine run a little smoother. I also think that since i was not pulling my trailer I was not really getting the benefit of the extra boost i was expecting. I think I would see a much bigger benefit if i had a load on the truck but the truck did run good with the additive. I also think that i did get slightly better fuel mileage than with out the additive. Also i was just running regular gas with ethanol. That is all I can say about it at this time and I would like to try it again when I take a trip with my 27 ft RV and I think i would see more benefit . Another thing is I do not know what the difference would be with hi test gas with more octane. Possibly running hi test and then adding the octane booster would make a big difference especially under load. I was also concerned if this would damage the catalytic converter on the truck and they say it will not.I hope this helps someone decide if its for them
I used Lucas Oil 10026 Fuel Treatments, Octane Booster in my 2008 Ford Fusion. My car was slow to take gas and occasionally cut out. After using the Lucas Oil 10026 Fuel Treatments, Octane Booster the car was able to take gas faster and quit cutting out. The bottle says it can be used with every fill up and it works good enough that I think it's well worth the money. My car was used when I bought it, and after using Lucas Oil 10026 Fuel Treatments, Octane Booster I am very happy with my car. This is a great item to be used by every car owner!
