Bronze is created from a blend of copper and tin to deliver a warmer, wood-like tone but with all the aggressive attack and presence of brass. Ludwig’s 1.2mm shell is made from a single sheet of bronze that is machine drawn into a seamless, beaded shell, which is then polished and outfitted with either Imperial or Tube Lugs. All snares come with a P88 Throw and 2.3mm Triple-Flange hoops. Sonically, Bronze Phonic sits in between its brass and copper counterparts. It is slightly warmer and mellower than brass, but more aggressive than copper and always offers its own unique voice in any style or mix.
