Went on easy the flares didn't fit tight at the ends
Good price, not quite an exact fit requiring a bit of modification on the rear flares to fit around existing factory quarter panel strips. Was a bit disappointed that the nuts and bolts were not factory installed in the flares considering they are cosmetic only. The nylon in the nuts was quite extensive locking tight on the bolts (when being installed by hand using ratchet w/socket and wrench) before they were seated in the flare required each nut to be pre-drilled to remove the excess nylon and the use of locktite to insure they do not vibrate loose in the future. Product looks good. 5 Bang for the buck. 5 Installation. 3 Overall Quality......... ? Will have to see how they wear over time.
First off the rubber seal they supply is very difficult to get on each fender flare. Holes in flares don't match real good and you really need two people to get them installed. Lastly these things scratch extremely easy. You would think they would have them wrapped in plastic which you could peel off after install.
Rear flares do not fit properly. None of the flares had the chrome rivets in them (had to swap from old flares I had). One of the flares didn't even have the holes drilled in them for the rivets. There was also missing hardware to even attach them to the vehicle. It's as if they made them off some specs sheet and never tested them or even tried to figure out how they could be attached to the vehicle. The rubber seal is in a big roll, you have to cut to size, and it takes about a half hour per flare to get them to attach to the flare, then while installing, falls off multiple times due to poor fitment to truck. To make things worse it took 2-3 weeks to even get them delivered. Avoid this product.
The fender flares fit the contours of my truck's body very nicely. It took me about three and a half hours to install a set four. I suggest you put the display bolts on before the rubber molding. Otherwise, the molding will come off while you're installing the bolts. I learned that after the first one. The fronts were the easiest because I used the trim screws already on the truck. The clips on the back wheels were trickier. I had to use a soft grip clamp to line up flare with edge of truck's wheel well edge. I had to use 3 automotive trim screws on one side because the trucks metal was too thick from rusting to get clips inserted. I really like the results!
