Lutron - Caseta Smart Switch Kit with Remote 3-Way (2 Points of Control) - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first heard of the Lutron Caseta Smart switch, I loved the concept and knew it would be a perfect fit for my older home. The flow isn't great and there are a few pass throughs that have light switches at one entry but not the other, forcing you to walk through the dark when trying to turn off lights when heading to the bedrooms. With this product, I can replace the existing switch and mount a remote control that looks like another light switch in a remote location without pulling wire or hiring a costly electrician. Such a simple solution to a frustrating problem. I gave this product 4 starts because it only came with one face plate where I felt that two were needed to provide one for each light switch and I felt the the instructions could have been broken down a bit more simply for amateurs and people with little to no electrical experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of this switch in my hallway because my kids are always leaving the light on at night. This way I can just use the remote to turn it off without having to get out of bed in the middle of the night. It truly is convenient. The only issue we came across was the dual light switches at the ends of our hallway. Once installed, whichever switch you use to turn the light on is the same switch you have to use to turn it back off which is really annoying. My fiance thinks there is a way to fix it so we are still waiting till he gets time to figure it out, which I'm sure he will find a way! Just wish the instructions were more clear for this situation. I will update once we figure it out to hopefully save someone else some time!
