M-D Building Products 81893 2-3/4 in. x 1-1/2 in. x 72 in. Bronze Aluminum Sill Nosing

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. this aluminum sill nosing was super easy to install. it was about 5 in too long, and was very easy to cut with a saw. It does not come with holes, so I pre-drilled a couple of holes along the edge. It fit perfectly over the entry to my garage, and hopefully this will keep the water and bugs out.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I was extremely impressed and surprised by the strength of the aluminum material of the M-D Building Products Sill Nosing. It seems very durable. I thought it would have pre-drilled holes but it doesn't. It is also very long and wider than expected. I have not heard of or used M-D Building Products but will consider them in the future for my next building project.

I mention this because when I purchased it there weren't any dimensions on the page. The aluminum is well done and flat along the length of it. The main problem was a small end on one of the corners at the end, but I was able to pound it out. The rest of it has some scuffs and scratches, but nothing that affected the use of it.

What I was not expecting was for it to be such a large piece. I did expect for it to have predrilled holes which it does not. Overall a good buy.

The first thing I noticed was how sturdy the entirety of the metal is-- it doesn't have any weak or flimsy spots, and is a consistent quality all throughout. It was pretty easy to handle and install, and didn't require much extra effort or time. It's a bit thicker than I expected which was a nice surprise, and definitely more heavy duty. Overall, I highly recommend this and really enjoy how it looks!
