Mace Brand Triple Action Personal Pepper Spray

I bought it is strong spray

have not had to use it yet. Hope I never do. but just in case I have it.

I feel ready for the drama!

I have small hands, but this sprayer is so big that I imagine even a woman with average-size hands would have difficulty grasping it while putting the thumb on the trigger as I do. I really feel like it would drop right out of my grasp in an emergency. I am going to try sawing the belt clip off and hopefully that will make things a bit better. Also, there is just a little lid that flips up easily when you stick your thumb under it. Unfortunately, I fear that all sorts of things might squeeze in there and inadvertently set the spray off. My last mace sprayer required you to slide the lid over before it would lift up. It was a very easy move, easily performed. The fact that this is too big for my hand, preventing me from keeping a firm grip while activating the spray and the ease of accidental discharge are the reasons for the low score. I have not tested the spray yet. But, I also do not like the very short ball chain it is on, which I think also makes it difficult to access in an emergency. Very disappointed in this purchase.
