Mainstays Olefin Hi/low Loop Tufted Area

We bought this 5x7 as the centerpiece along with 2 smaller ones for our family room. We liked the fact we could get the same design in different sizes. Unfortunately we had 2-3 runs so far in this 5x7. While vacuuming! We've been able to cut the runs before they get too big. The small ones have been good so far. So I'd be careful vacuuming these rugs with carpet vacuum! The pile had been sucked out causing the runs..

I have 5 of these 5'x7' cream color rugs now. Perfect thickness, well made, non-slip, easy to clean, and they look as if they should cost 3 times the price. I've owned 2 for over a year. They've held up quite well, even though one was used for the room that housed 6 new kittens and mama, from birth to now, going on 16 months. I finally found decent rugs at a price that's fairly reasonable.

First of all these carpets would be awesome in their entirety, if they were made better. The rug backing has a perfect grip, they don't slip at all! The colors were great (black and brown)...only thing was I can see white through the top; I bought three, all had imperfections with this. Lastly, the edging didn't match up all the way around the carpet. I kept them, cause I needed them.

It’s thick without being too thick, if that makes sense. It’s also very well-made so I can vacuum it or use my broom to clean it without a problem. For some reason, if you decide you need to wash it in the washing machine, put it on delicate and use very little laundry detergent and use cold water in the washer. Super easy!!

The rug itself is great, but it’s Rust, definitely not Red as shown. I have bought other sizes and colors for my home and several rentals. They’re handsome, made well, and come in various sizes for different purposes. I have used them at entrances, in front of sinks, in laundry rooms, hallways, kids’ rooms, in front of a fireplace, and at the bottom of stairways. The latex backing keeps them securely in place. Their tailored style blends well with Orientals or other patterns in a room. The rugs launder beautifully, but I dry them on delicate to prolong the lifespan. They also clean up quickly with a broom instead of having to drag out the vacuum. The black trim and also beige trim rugs have been great, but I’ll have to return this one due to the Rust color. It’s a good looking rug, but I need Red. If any of the colors work with your decor, don’t hesitate. They’re great rugs.
