Arrived with one hook totally missing Hard to believe the quality control is so poor that this would have been shipped to me

I saw this really great idea for using coat hooks in the bedroom and have been wanting to try it out. I started not to get this because it wasn't dark enough. I'm glad I did. The picture is not an accurate depiction of the true color. It is the beautiful espresso color we all have come to expect. The description states that it has 6 hooks but just like the picture shows, it only has 4 hooks. The hooks are large and can hold a lot of different items. It came with screws and anchors that actually work. The finish on the hooks match perfectly with the color of the board. I use it to hang up clothes that I wore once but don't want to hang them in the closet with the clean clothes. Now instead of laying barely worn clothes over my vanity chair or footboard I can now hang them on the hook and their out of the way until I wear them again. The install was easy because the paper board that it is attached to is the template with the screw holes ready to be marked. The screw hole covers are a perfect color match and may take a little mallet to put in. One went in fine with just hand pressure but the second one kept falling out. I got it to stay in with no problem when I used a mallet.

Great quality! The back is wood and solid construction. The hooks are a good quality metal that do not bend easily. It is very pleasing to the eye. The instructions were clear and it was easy to install.

My Chapter Espresso with Bronze Finish Hook Board has arrived and my husband opened it up and decided that the hook board would be great for his hunting, fishing and radio room man cave. I originally had other plans for it but I must confess it looks really nice in his room. He uses it for his favorite hats. The board is good quality. This rack has four hooks with a bronze finish that make the board stand out. The board comes with the provided screws to mount to drywall or wood. Our wall was all wood so we had no problem hanging the board. My original plan was to hang this rack in the entryway to hang jackets. The only fault is the hooks are close together and can only be used for hats, keys or small items. Adult coats or sweat shirts would be to crowded and would fall off. However this rack has provided a better use and I would recommend this board for small item use.

The Chapter Hook Board in Espresso with Bronze Finish Hooks is a nice board. The hook board itself is 18” long. The pre-drilled holes are not properly placed to hit standard wall studs, but it comes with drywall anchors for installation. The hooks were a little loose so we just tightened them up before putting it up. Installation was very easy and everything was included. There are even little plugs to cover the screw heads on the front. It took maybe 5 minutes to hang and most of that time was ensuring it was straight on the wall. I would feel more confident to hang heavier items, like a kid's backpack, on it if it was screwed into a stud. With that in mind, we have decided to use it behind our bedroom door to hold robes and extra coats. The hooks are double hooks so you can hang things on the upper and lower hooks, which doubles the usefulness while still leaving the board compact in size. The style of the hook board will easily complement any decor. It is said to be able to hold up to 30 pounds when mounted to wood. This is a good hook board for hanging jackets, robes, hoodies and even leashes or lanyards. It works perfectly in our bedroom.
