I am a long time user of Max-E-Glo stabilized Rice Bran, like (20 years). It is the best affordable product on the market for not only a somewhat weight builder, but it also helps in the digestion of all the other grain and hay as it pumps up the digestion and keeps my horses healthy as they can be. I would also like to add that I use Manna Pro Hoof Heal also 20 years, as it is the best on the market. It is not only affordable, and used twice a week in my sometimes dry and wet conditions in my state, (KY) for preventing thrush, cracked hooves and most of all, preventing white line infections. The ingredients are phenomenal! Try them both and see for yourself.
I used to top dress with another rice bran product but my 10 horses were not getting the look I need. Switching to Max -E-Glo has all of my much loved horses gaining weight and look super Shiney and their overall appearance it excellent from adding Max-E-Glo to their daily diet.
I use this when I need to get medicine in the horse and I add it to water to get them to drink. So important when traveling and changes in water, this has them drinking the bucket dry. Love it.
I have been feeding rice bran for twenty years. It has been a constant in my boys diets over the years. I wouldn't go without it. It helps the older hoses maintain woeghy without the added grain. It also gives them a nice shine to their coats.
I started feeding Max-E-Glo about 18 months ago to my elderly gelding (now age 32) and the results were amazing. Even with unusually cold weather, he wintered better than in previous years. His equine dentist was amazed and said she would guess his age at about 18 or 19 if she didn't know his true age. I would recommend this to any horse owner experiencing low weight issue in their horse(s). Thanks for a great product.
