Marie Callender's Frozen Pie Dessert, Peach, 10 Ounce

While the crust was wonderful and flaky, when I sliced into the pie it was a large open cavern with small amount of thick filling, few peach pieces spread on the bottom. Very disappointing!

There were only three or four small half pieces of fruit in this pie. There was mostly air in between the crusts. I thought maybe it was just my pie but my husbands was the same way.

As always, the crust was delicious - but the peach filling was a big disappointment. I used to make all my pies from "scratch" until I found Marie Callender's pies. Now I buy the pies and bake them and have to tell my guests "my friend, Marie, made the pie, I just bake them. However, my recent purchase of a small peach pie was really disappointing. There could not have been even one peach in that pie. More like 1/2 peach. I baked it in the Microwave, following the directions - again, the crust was super, but when I cut it in half for my husband and I, it was like a hollow shell, except for this tiny bit of peach laying on the bottom curst. What a disappointing dessert we had that night. I still love Marie Callendar products and will continue to buy them but possible will have to skip the SS pies. I love Marie Callender's pies. Only ones I'll buy unless I make them myself because your crust tastes like homemade. I don't have pie often since I am only cooking for myself, so I was thrilled to see you come out with your small fruit pies which are a perfect size. But what happened to the crust? I just had your pumpkin pie at Christmas, so I know it wasn't an overall recipe change. But the crust on the small pie tasted nothing like the crust on my pumpkin pie or on the apple pie we also served. How disappointing!

This was the tartest peach pie I have ever eaten. The peaches were even green in color not to mention green in ripeness. Was looking forward to a little comfort food and all I got was a sour puss smile it was so tart. Not a fan!
