Mary Kitchen Reduced Sodium Corned Beef Hash, 15 oz Can

I wasn't sure what to expect with this hash. I'd never tried it but I really enjoyed the unique taste. I love corned beef and never thought of buying it in a can but what a great alternative to hours of cooking! This seemed to have the right ratio of meat, potatoes and flavor. I heated it up with some cooked cabbage I had and it was wonderful! A great easy dinner with some nostalgic flavor for me and even the kids liked it!

I received this for free, and it was very tasty. The reduced-salt version was noticeable as a difference in flavor, but the taste and quality were still exemplary. Very convenient and great for folks on a low-sodium diet. All the goodness without sacrificing the flavor!

Good but found the lack of sodium took away most of the flavor a hearty hash is supposed to have. However do see the health benefits for this type of product. For most of my family not a necessity, but may be something to add to diet in the future.

This is the first time I have eaten Mary Kitchen reduced sodium corned beef hash. Some people eat reduced salt, fat, gluten and so on but I am not one of them. Salt is an essential ingredient for human health but some research has shown it to increase blood pressure. With that said this corned beef hash is not so good. I added salt which defeats the purpose and it made it taste nearly as good as the full salt version. I see no reason to buy or eat it again.

I like corned beef and corned beef hash. I don't like all the salt that comes with it. I loved this! It has all the flavor of corned beef but the salt isn't overpowering. The texture and size of the potatoes was just right and it fried up perfectly in my cast iron skillet. The only negative was the texture of the meat, more like ground beef with a couple of larger chunks (1/4"-1/2"). I will look for this at the store to keep on hand for sudden hash cravings.
