Masterbuilt SE XL Pellet Smoker

I've had this smoker over a year with no problems. Bought it to smoke meat for my daughter wedding and it worked perfectly. I've been smoking every week since. Pork shoulder, ribs,beans,chicken, beef,and potatoes.

We set it for 225 and it won't stay at it it goes up to 290 when set to 226 so don't buy it

i bought two of these and love the capacity and the fact it can go over 300 degrees is a plus

Bought this over a year ago. Follow directions and has worked as it should everytime. I do not understand the bad reviews. Plans changed quickly going into Thanksgiving. Wednesday night put 30lbs of turkey in smoker had a wonderful smoked turkey dinner. I have smoked turkeys, chicken, brisket and ribs all at the same time. Wonderful unit. The only things I would change is the ability to add a "cold smoker" ability, so I can do bigger bacon jobs and an insulated cabinet would help when using the unit in the winter. But over all my 2 Weber kettles hardly get any use now and my digital electric smoker only does cold smoke bacon, hams and fish.
