This product was not at all what I ordered. The one they showed online was white with pick flowers. The one I received was blue with pink stars. The slits in front are alittle long so it gaps open and is pretty revealing. Over all it gets the job done for the price, but disappointed in overall expectations.
I see lots of women giving this gown bad reviews. I don't know why. I have 2 of these gowns in 2 different patterns. Most stores have this gown and my store had 4 designs to chose from. I do agree the slits are a little big, but if its that big of a deal sew them up a little or wear a robe. I do not wear this during the day so i wouldnt not have to answer the door in it like some girls worry about showing their chest. I wore this with my 1st child at night to nurse and it was great, I am due in 2 weeks and got a 2nd gown to do the same. It is a ncie soft cotton that lets your skin breath....that is important if you are nursing anyway...so cotton is a good thing! I just wanted others to see that not everyone dislikes this gown. I am very happy with my purchase and think it is a great gown for the price.
If you are looking for a less expensive nightgown get this. It's really pretty, light material, comfortable. The only real flaw is that when I put this on (I'm 8 months pregnant) the flaps do not cover my breasts. I' think it's because my big belly is pulling out the material, so I didnt not return the nightgown because I think once the baby is born, it will be fine. Also, the slits are very long, and I might have my mom sew them up a bit so they dont reach all the way down to my belly! That might also help them stay closed. Or, I could just throw on a robe when wearing it - which I'll do in the winter anyway!! If you have smaller breasts, and not as big of a belly, I'm sure the gown would fit fine.
I have not used this product since I have not had the baby yet. But did try it on at 7 months and really preggo (big mama), and it's roomy, looks nice, fells soft, quality good and seems functional. And for the price I am going to purchase another. You can't go wrong, if it gets stained you can get rid of it after using. It is a short gown, just as displayed in the picture.
I purchased this for my pregnant daughter to use after delivery. I'd seen the reviews so I knew it wasn't the greatest, but it was worse than that. Brand new out of the package and the gapes in front didn't even close since the center panel is so narrow and rolls in. I will add fabric to the panel to make it wider and she can use the gown at home, this absolutely cannot be used at the hospital, she might as well use the hospital gown. Your best bet, don't buy this, it is not a good purchase.
