Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quads, Emerald Smokes

The eye makeup itself is fine, I have been using it for years. My problem is that Maybelline decided to no longer include an applicator with this product. They are leaving that unfortunate surprise to any unsuspecting long-term customer. I purchased some applicators, but they are too long for the space in the ExpertWear compact, so now I have to rubber band the applicator to the outside of the compact.

I've used this Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow “Quads”, Chai Latte for years. However, it is no longer a “quad”! The upper left section is blank so that there are only three eyeshadows. I don't use that particular shade so I didn't return it. The eyeshadow is a good quality but it shouldn't be called “quad.”

Received two Maybelline Mocha Motion eye shadows today and neither had the brushed inside as pictured. Now I can either return, purchase the brushed separately or see if I have some. I paid for shipping too. Glad I didn't the minimum amount because then I would be stuck is even more without brushes. How hard is it to ensure the customer gets what they paid for?
