Mayne Fairfield 16” x 16” x 28” Tall Square White Self Watering Plastic Plant Planter

This looks so nice alongside my house and fits well into a corner where a regular sized barrel would stick out. My neighbor has already complimented me on it! The only reason I gave it four stars is that the hose slows to a trickle when it gets to be only about 1/4 full - I'll need to raise the barrel up higher since the hose works off gravity, but that seems to take away from the aesthetic of this barrel and I think positioning the hose would maximize flow.

With winter still lurking here in the Northeast, I have not set up this planter yet. However, I lover the color and the sturdiness of it. Can't wait to fill it with "Spring" flowers. The height is just what I was looking for, and Gardener's Supply customer service is awesome!!!

We ordered the 3 and 4 foot boxes shown in the catalog and online. When they arrived we noticed on packing info that there was also a 5 foot box, Called GS and the woman I spoke with was so helpful, did some research and was able to order. Arrived in less than a week!

We purchased 2 of these planters but found they were to large for our entryway. We were shocked with the return policy and the shipping cost we had to pay to return and replace with smaller planters, It cost us nearly 50% of what we paid to return. Would make sure this product is right for your need you know the return policy before purchase.

Last year we planted two Alberta Spruces in them and the trees are thriving. We purchased a third planter this years. We can fill them with water and not worry about them while on vacation. Very attractive and will not blow over in a strong wind. They are made of plastic, which may not be as attractive to some people, but that also means no maintenance.
