MAYTAG MED7100DC FRONT LOAD ELECTRIC DRYER White

So far the dryer works well. I have not tried all the options. I cannot connect the dryer to the water as it is about 9 feet from the faucet and I was told that it has to be no more than 5 feet away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have been more impressed with my new dryer than I expected. The technology in dryers has changed drastically since my last dryer purchase (10 years ago??). I am so impressed that I am trying to find the matching washer so that I can plan to replace the washer (that I purchased about 10 years ago). I was very pleased with my purchase and plan on replacing more appliances in my home. Thank you, for the product that has made my household a little more efficient. We Lost our home and all our belongings in a horrible forest fire and we purchase the Maytag Maxima set to replace out set lost in fire. The dryer rattles a lot for a new and top of the line dryer a little disappointed about that. Otherwise it works well.

We have had the dryer for a couple months now. Seems to work just fine. Still trying to figure out how best to use the steam feature. Only complaint with this and the matching washer is the volume of the alarms. Our laundry room is in the basement and the alarm can't be heard from upstairs. Old washer and dryer had the old fashioned buzzers. Obnoxious but you never has a problem hearing them.

My first w/d was Maytag and I've had 2-3 different brands since. Nothing compares to Maytag. Love the dryer-my last one broke 2 years in a row and it was only 6 years old. I guess I'm old fashioned and I expect high end purchases to last longer. Silly me. Please don't disappoint me, Maytag. Bring back the days of yea and nay.
