MAYTAG MDB4709PAQ built in dishwasher

I am very satisfied with how well this dishwasher works. The extra tall bottom shelf is really handy for pitchers, casserole dishes, and cutting boards. The powerful jets also do a thorough job of cleaning off stuck on food. I would recommend this dishwasher to a friend.

I am happy with the dish cleaning that this appliance is doing. However the controls are very difficult to see and use. My husband is not able to operate it because the choices on the display are so small and he has difficulty trying to find the correct place to touch it.

I have a home with 3 young children and a fourth on the way! One request I made was to own a dishwasher before the new baby came along. After checking reviews, talking to many many people and considering our budget this was our choice. I have never been more pleased with a dishwasher. We really put it to the test over the first 5 runs, putting almost Everything filthy we could think of in it. My husband even called me from work to see how well it worked for the first few runs, and was Astonished when I told him EVERYTHING came out Clean!Thank you for making an excellent dishwasher that we could afford!

I replaced a 15 yr old Maytag expecting equal if not better product. This washer will not clean thoroughly if food has dried.I have to rinse/scrape items to assure adequate cleaning. Not doing this the dishes with eggs and other sticky foods don't clean. I find food scraps on backs and sides from other dishes. Bowls must be placed in upper rack to stand up to get clean. The least bit of movement they fall over. Upper rack is not designed well, too close to top with wasted space where I can't fit glasses or cups. This washer might be okay if you do the dishes every meal, but with just my husband and myself, we should be able to do them at the end of the day and get clean dishes. I can just imagine what the holidays will be like when the entire family is here!

I love my new dishwasher. It is a terrific washer and has all the features you would need including heated dry which I think is important. There is a short wash and steam sanitizing cycle. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a moderately priced dishwasher.
