McFarlane Toys - DC: The Batman Movie - Batman 7" Action Figure

Awesome figure

My nephew was very happy with it.

Typical Mcfarlane: Detail is good, but feels cheap in hand. Paint job inconsistent. Articulation is poor. The Batman does NOT sit well on the separately sold The Batman bat-cycle. The accessory fits because they made a peg, and the hand has a peg-hole for holding it (in other words, without the peg hole thing, Robert Pattinson here couldn't hold anything at all). Eyes looking to the right for some odd reason. In addition, this particular figure is now infamous for the hood/torso defect, which mine has. Between this and a cruddy Mcfarane toys Batgirl figure I got over the holidays, I wouldnt buy McFarlane Toys anything again. As per usual... stick it on a shelf in the position they wanted you to display it and you'll be fine. You'll probably do best by not opening the box at all. Just admire it in the box.

Collectors be warned: Don't buy this defective figure! The figure came in with his lower half upside down and an incorrect cape. Walmart tried to replace it with the exact same defective item. For the price, you would hope for better quality control.

You have to be careful with this figure. It looks great if it has a decent paint app but many I've come across have not. Especially where the face meets the mask. Alternatively, you may run into a factory variant that is not ideal where there is a pulled down hood instead of the intended version which is a cowl. Hope you get a good one.
