Medela PersonalFit Breast Shields, 30mm, Clear, 87075, Set of 2

My areola stillgets sucked into there a lot, and can make pumping uncomfortable. Well made and gets the jib done, I'd just love to see medela come out with a smaller option. It doesnt seem like this is almost any different in sizing from the 24mm shields

After several months of pumping with the standard 24 mm size shields, I realized they might be too big. The 21 mm ones actually fit and it is so much better - more comfortable as well as more efficient pumping. Wish I had gotten these months ago. The only issue is that the 21 mm shields aren't quite as easy to fit into the other parts of the pump - it's a tight fit. But still works fine.

I used the 21mm breastshield for the first time today. I was using the 24 but it was a little too big. The 21 was a lot shorter than the 24 and did not fit into the connector verry well. I pumped then it popped off and spilled all my milk. I was a work and nedless to say I did cry over spilled milk. I have had a difficult time with milk production so this was pretty devistating. I think it should fit into the conector better than that.

I bought this because I noticed the breast shields that come standard with all Medela pumps was a little too big. This size is a lot better but I kind of wish there was a size smaller. So far this size has worked better for me. A smaller size than 21mm will be better but for now it works.

I tried the average size shield that cane with my pump and it was very uncomfortable because it pulled too much breast tissue into the flange. This size works much better and gives me a better pump output with just enough space for the nipple to move freely without pulling too much areola into the flange.
