These nursing pads reallykeptme dry all day,no embarrassing leaks. No one even knew I was wearing these ultra thin nursing pads. They were a great treat from weeSpring Parent Panel. I've tried many brands, but theses by far were the best. They were so soft I forgot I was even wearing anything.I give these nursing pads an A+ rating. I will definitely continue to buy these, while I'm nursing.
Full disclosure: I received a sample pack of these through the weeSpring Parent Panel As far as design, there are a few things that set these apart from other nursing pads I've used. First of all, they aren't perfectly round, they're lile a circle that is slightly flattened on one side. The adhesive on the back is one large square instead of 2 smaller pieces of adhesive, and the adhesive is STRONG, which I love. When I've folded my nursing tank or bra down to nurse, I always have trouble with the nursing pad getting bunched up, but I have much less trouble with these- I think because the adhesive is slightly off-center, so if you place the smaller half at the top, it's much less likely to bunch down. And finally, the material they're made out of is fairly soft and non-irritating. In terms of absorbency, I'd rate these for no more than moderate leaks. Over the 2 weeks or so of continuous use, I had 2 leaks, both times when I had to skip a nursing or pumping session. I actually have an issue with slight oversupply, so if that happens I tend to leak quite a bit, and these couldn't quite contain it. Other than that, over the course of day and night use, I has no issues. They are SUPER absorbent for their size. Finally, as for how they look- they're fairly discrete. It you're wearing a bra with no padding or a thin nursing tank, yes you can see it, but it's still less noticeable than some of the others I've worn, probably because of the fact that it doesn't bunch as easily. Overall I'd rate them about a 4.5, rounded up to 5 as I believe they do what they're meant to do. I just don't believe they're meant for super heavy leaks. These were some of the best nursing pads that I've ever used. I generally feel like most disposable pads are bulking and easy to see under clothing. These however I barely could tell they were there. My husband and I went out for our first date night after welcoming our twin boys. I actually wore a real bra and a fairly thin shirt. Not only were the pads invisible, they kept me dry for 5 hours away from my babies. ***recieved this product for free as part of a Wee Springs panel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I just had my 2nd son a few months ago and I am again exclusively breastfeeding. My breastfeeding journey with my first son lasted a year with the first 2 months of which he was in the NICU. So you can imagine with him I tried every nursing pad on the market. Each one was either too bulky or didn't stick efficiently. When I finally settled on a nursing pad with my first son it was the Medala pads but they were still a little bulky in my opinion. So I was excited to receive the notice I was getting to try the new Medela product. I was hoping they had improved on an already pretty decent product and they have! You get the protection of the old product with a much similar design. These will definitely be my go to nursing pad. My only regret is not having them in the early months of breastfeeding when I was really having leaking problems. Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these nursing pads to try and review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received the product from the weeSpring Parent Panel for free in exchange for a review: however, I found this to be the most user friendly out of all the other nursing pads I have tried. I pump regularly so I dont usually leak unless I go a long time between sessions: every now and then I dont get to pump for an extended time and these pads have been there to soak up the milk, and there is no odor either. They are comfortable to wear but require a bit of work to become seamless when you first put them on. I regularlygo bra-less (just a camisole and shirt/sweater over it) so if I dont smooth out the pad pretty well you can definitely tell there is something bunching up: so you cant just throw them on unless you have some padding. The pads are very comfortable and I cant even tell I am wearing them, and I have had no adverse reactions. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
