I would give this zero stars if I could. I received this in plastic, but out of packaging and in a used box so I contacted the seller concerned. They reassured me that they are new and bought in bulk and shipped separately. The purifier (which I have never had any issues with and has been great) did not accept it as a new filter and continued to notify me that the filter needed to be replaced. I let it run thinking maybe it needed to be reset. That continued and then we started to get a smell in the room the purifier is used in. After trying EVERYTHING we realized it was the air purifier (again never had a single issue before using this filter). Now not only am I out the cost of this filter, but it has likely damaged my very expensive air purifier. I do not recommend purchasing this product from this company.
