The fifth season of Parks and Recreation finds the newly elected City Councilwoman Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) getting a crash course in politics as she attempts to make progress in saving a local mini-golf course and updating Pawnee's hopelessly antiquated laws. Her personal life is equally chaotic; in addition to the general havoc that follows Leslie and her friends, she is also trying to plan her wedding to Ben (Adam Scott).
