Melissa & Doug 4 Wooden Classic Rainbow Learning Toys

Out of 4 toys only one is used. The pegs and hammer. The stacking toy is dangerous. Pieces would hurt if tossed and top red ball is choking hazard. Caterpillar is pointless and pieces fall off VERY easy making it difficult to even play with. Shape sorter is not tactilely pleasant and while it didn't give splinters it felt like it could.

This is a great set! My 18 month old plays with these toys daily. They are well made, colorful and keep our little one entertained for hours. They are by far his favorite, most played with toys and are great for improving motor skills. Very pleased with these as I usually am with Melissa & Doug toys.

Good, colorful, interactive toys. Our kids love colorful interactive toys like these because they spark their imagination. My kids really like using these in tandem with other building toy to build really interesting structures. These toys are also very durable so they will last.

The Melissa & Doug wooden classic rainbow learning toys are made of a good quality wood. The pieces are smooth and a good size for small hands to pick up. Each of the toys is unique and fun to use and I like that each toy actually teaches something. I like how the shape sorting cube has so many different types of shapes that have to fit in the space just so or it won't work. It took a good amount of time for my four year old Grandson to fit all the shapes into the appropriate spaces. The top slides open to release all of the shapes but I found it to be difficult for little hands to open it. He really enjoyed the pound a peg toy. The pieces can be all pounded down and I like how the whole thing can be turned over to start all over again. The box has suggestions on more ways to play with these toys like tracing the gears on the rainbow gears toy to create unique designs. There are endless ways to play with these toys like the rainbow stacker can be stacked in patterns not just from large to small. This product design seems very durable and long lasting, it is easy to use without any instructions needed. It is very appealing with the vibrant colors and it can keep young kids interested.

This set is a favorite of my kiddos. 4 fun wooden toy sets. My kids are 3, 2 and 11and they all like playing with these. These teach the younger kids with stacking, colors, matching shapes. I love Melissa and Doug toys cause of their safety and durability. These toys are colorful, fun, sturdy, safe and will last. My kids have so much fun with them. This would make a perfect gift idea too! Highly recommend !
