Merit

This phone is great if you aren't expecting $$$$ iphone quality. The pre-installed apps are a real pain because you can't uninstall them or move them to the SD card. However, it takes great pictures, and looks and works great!

The camera takes a second or two after you hit the "take picture" button, before it actually takes the photo, and the quality of the pictures is very poor. The battery on this phone is also very poor quality, it only lasts a day and a half with minimal use. I have only had the phone a week and a half.

The phone works great. By putting the volume on hearing impaired, I am able to hear callers without difficulty. Love being able to have a different ringer for each contact-it is so helpful. The great difficulty was setting it up and the lousy customer service. Tried to transfer my number, but after 5 days, and they took the money out of the bank but did not even give me a number, I was not happy. Call service number and get automated machines-as if we all fit into the same square hole. Finally, after much looking around on the site, I found a grey box that looked like advertisement but was the chat button. It does not say 'chat' but don't recall how they word it. I think it might be 'live' . So if you need to talk to a real person-look for the chat button. Ended up having to change my number.

I got this phone really fast from walmart.com I was very happy with them on that and I bought the replacement plan also. This phone does get good service in my area but it does also keeping powering down with out me turning it off. It also has trouble with the texting option. I might have got a lemon but it's really bad when your phone is brand new out of the package and powers off 4-7 times a day. Sometimes that's just sitting there by itself not being touched.

After trying several other Android phones that had different carriers I finally found this one thru AT&T that gives me the coverage in my area. I had tried other phones that were with Verizon bc everyone says they have the most towers. Well not in my area they didn't. I picked this phone bc I found an AT&T tower within 4 miles of my house. The phone it easy to operate and like the way it looks too. My only complaint is there is a lot of apps that comes with the phone that I don't use and it can get confusing when you go into your settings to figure out what to do with them. Other than than I like the phone a lot.
