Michelin Hydroedge 185/70R14 87T Tire

I have about 35,000 miles of four hydroedge tires, which includes several road trips of 2,500 miles each. I have always kept them inflated properly and had them rotated every 5,000 miles at store of purchase. They ensured the allingments were allways correct. The center tread still measures at 9 at the center of the tire on the standard tread gauge and number 3 on the outer edges.

I put these tires on my Cadillac Eldorado and they are hard as rock. They basically ruined the smooth, soft Cadillac ride I was used to. I feel like I'm driving a truck. My dealer won't take them back so I'm stuck with them. But I will probably replace them anyway and try to sell them if I can. What a waste of money. If you want a smooth, quiet ride don't buy these!

I've owned michelin tires since 1973 on and off. I've always gone back for long tread life and ride comfort. When I first purchased the Hydroedge tire, Iwas having problems with hydroplaning in my car. Much to my surprise the tire helped tremendously. Now I have all three, long wear, comfort and a safe, confident wet surface ride. Thanks

Was very satisfied with my HydoEdge tires on my last Sienna Van. Just had a new set of XRadials DT installed (as HydroEdge were not in stock)on my new Sienna and am hoping for the same satisfaction. So far they feel great although they seem a little noisier which might be because they are new.

I have a mini-van, and I feel so much safer just knowing I am now driving on Michelins. I had Michelins on my old Honda - was zooming down the freeway and had a flat on my right front. Basically nothing happened, but I moved off the freeway and got out and looked, sure enough, it was almost flat. My stepson told his family that I was the best driver he had ever ridden with, when my tire went flat, we didn't even swerve. I hated to tell him it was the tires, not me. I Love Michelins.
