Michelin HydroEdge 205/55R16 89 T Tire

As a single mother who drives nearly 100 miles every day commuting to and from the job, I truly rely on Michelins for safety and security on the road. I have never felt more safe driving Illinois highways in the changing weather we get over the course of a year than when driving on Michelins. I have had hydroedge tires on my last two vehicles, driven over the past three years. Michelin Hydroedges perform great on ice, pouring rain and on a super heated roadway. I've seen plenty of accidents during my daily travels and and so thankful to have had the experience of Michelins. I know they have performed for me in a couple of close calls due to dangerous/icy or snowy driving conditions and unexpected road hazards or to avoid careless drivers. The gas mileage that I recieve is an additional bonus. I recently purchased a new Honda bearing Michilin tires-part of the reason I selected this car. I guarantee you that my replacement set, which occurs every other year for me, will be Hydroedge. My daughter will be driving in less than two years, and I can say with certainty, that any car purchased for her will be equiped with Michelin Hydroedge tires. It will give me piece of mind to know that at least, with all the dangers facing her being a new driver, she will have one safe measure working in her favor, and that will be a new set of Michelin Hydroedge tires!

A well manufactured tire for use in wet mostly situations if it is raining, but good anytime. I found them to be excellent in all aspects, thus the name "HYDROedge". They give you the security you have to have today when driving on many surface's, "the edge". A tire developed with your families safety in mind all the time. Try a set! You won't give them back! Or, I'll let you try mine, as long as I am with you. Randy

This tire gives very good wet "peace of mind" feeling when used on rain-soaked roads. I can also state that I know first-hand that Michelin stands behind their products. The tire may be a little above other brands in initial price, however, the cost per mile is much less.

Excellent tire. First set had MAJOR dry rot. Since only 20% of the tire had been used, Michelin warranteed the tires and covered 80% of the cost. I have been very pleased with the tires overall. As it was described to me, the tires that I had must have been defective, based on the severity of the dry rot and the amount of tread left. I have always bought Michelins and will continue to in the future as my wife's car needs new tires soon. Thanks Michelin!!

I am on my second set of Hydroedge on my second car. I purchased the second set after one great experience in Washington, DC. We, myself and my wife, were meeting our kids to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We were in the rain in heavy traffic. The car in front of us stopped with no warning. When I saw the stopped car all I could visualize was the front of my car ramming the stopped car in the rear. I hit the breaks and my car stopped immediately. This event made me a believer in the Hydroedge. This is why I am on my second set.
