These tires are AMAZING!! This is my second set of Hydroedge tires for two differnt vehicles. These crip and wear through all weather better than any tire that I have ever owned and I've been through a lot of tires over the years do to being a in home rep for companys and put ALOT of miles on a vehicle. Will buy these from now on for all our vehicles, WORTH IT!!!!
I took a chance on this tire because 1) my past experience with Michelins, 2) they were recommended for their performance on wet pavement, and 3) they came with a 90,000-mile warranty. As you know, Firebirds have a light rear end and 'fish-tailing' is a common problem. When I got my 1st set I was amazed at how well my car handled, especially in the rain. I put 75,000 miles on those tires before replacing them (would have been more if I had rotated them like I should). No leaks, no flats, no fish-tailing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Michelin HydroEdge!
Best tire for the Chrysler 300, Had to replace factory tire at 30,000 miles. Put top of line GY after 8000 miles couldn't hear the radio with the tire noise. Replaced them with the Michelin HydroEdge, man what a difference. I've put 14,000 on these and they sound and handle like I just put them on. Great increase in gas mileage, handles wet & snow like it has 4 wheel drive. I'll never buy another brand.
As a single mother who drives nearly 100 miles every day commuting to and from the job, I truly rely on Michelins for safety and security on the road. I have never felt more safe driving Illinois highways in the changing weather we get over the course of a year than when driving on Michelins. I have had hydroedge tires on my last two vehicles, driven over the past three years. Michelin Hydroedges perform great on ice, pouring rain and on a super heated roadway. I've seen plenty of accidents during my daily travels and and so thankful to have had the experience of Michelins. I know they have performed for me in a couple of close calls due to dangerous/icy or snowy driving conditions and unexpected road hazards or to avoid careless drivers. The gas mileage that I recieve is an additional bonus. I recently purchased a new Honda bearing Michilin tires-part of the reason I selected this car. I guarantee you that my replacement set, which occurs every other year for me, will be Hydroedge. My daughter will be driving in less than two years, and I can say with certainty, that any car purchased for her will be equiped with Michelin Hydroedge tires. It will give me piece of mind to know that at least, with all the dangers facing her being a new driver, she will have one safe measure working in her favor, and that will be a new set of Michelin Hydroedge tires!
HydroEdge tires are great for their intended design. They lasted a fair amount of miles on my minivan. I did not rotate them as often as should so fronts wore out fast. The one downside of directional tread and rotating them properly. They performed great though in dry, and wet conditions. Snow they worked, but others do much better in traction. Non-snowy area's I would Highly recommend the HydroEdge.
