Had these tires for about 15000 miles. Wear like iron, good traction...but they roar like tank treads!!! I have them on a minvan where the trunk does not isolate the tire noise, and wow, it is impossible to hold a conversation at highway speeds. Tires wearing normally, they are just loud loud loud. Other Michelin's are much better.
I've had these tires for almost a year now just before winter hit last year and they performed very well in the ice and snow. Looking out of the rear view mirror you could the the debri fly. Their a little nosey on dry pavement but really go good in ice and snow and rain. I felt confident in my cars capabilites with these tires. Earlier this fall while driving home I heard a thump and new something happened to my right rear tire. Upon my arrival home I got out and looked at my back tire and you could see plain as day I had picked up a huge bolt. I left my car outside the garage that night assuming for sure it would be flat by morning. To my surprise the next morning that tire was still inflated and I was able to drive it to the service center in town. I had to replace that tire as the bolt was to close to the edge. But I have been very please with my Hydroedge Michelin tires. This is my third set of Michelin tires and the next if there is a next time for new tires. I will buy them again. There also on my 1995 Dodge Intrepid.
This cuts through rain covered roads like hot knife through butter. I have about 3000 miles on my new set and the thread looks brand new. Response is excellent and they don't spin out unless forced. Excllent traction. Harder tire so that it can last 90K miles but comfort and noise control is very good for the warranty you get.
This is my second set of Michelin's on my Honda van. The first set came from the factory. I purchased an off brand after the first set wore out at almost 80 thousand of great miles. What a mistake. The off brand did not last more than 25 thousand miles. The HydoEdge are excellent, good handling, very quiet and smooth. I will never, and I repeat, never, buy an off brand again!! Tom M
While I've only had these tires for a short time I have noticed a slight increase in gas mileage. The tires seem to perform well in both dry and wet applications. The only downside compared to my old tires is that they are a bit noisier. They are a great value and I would definately buy these tires again.
