All Michelin tires we have used on our cars have been excellent and have last 5 years before we need new ones. The drive very smoothly when we aren't in Toronto they run very smoothly. Outside of Toronto they are excellent but in Toronto it's bump bump.
HydroEdge handle incredibly well under normal conditions, but when they hit wet roads or slicks they really show what they're made of! I've avoided hydroplaning and managed to maintain control under circumstances where other tires would fail miserably.
Love Michelin tires. The first thing I always do when I buy a car is replace the tires with Michelin tires and get the brakes done. I feel safer with Michelin tires as the car handles much better. As we get a lot of rain in Vancouver this Hydroedge tire has been great for even our wettest days.
When driving on interstate highway 87 through the adirondack area this spring, the tires gave me superb traction even though their were patches of ice and snow in certain areas. We saw a few cars in the ditch but my Michelin Hydro Edge tires kept us on the highway with secure traction.
I picked this tire because of the handling it privides on wet pavement. Most tires perform fine on dry roads but when they get wet is when you really need your tires to perform. Thus far, about 3 years now, these tires have been rock solid for me in the rain!
