Best tire brand ever. I've purchased at least 5 sets over the years. It started when I couldn't get the vibration out one of my trucks, my tire guy said try Michelin tires. That solved the issue and I got 90000 miles out of that set. It's the only tire I'll ever buy for safety and peace of mind.
Bought a Chevrolet Silverado Pickup Brand Spankin New. Bought the Work Truck Edition ( AKA / Striped not Equiped) with very Little to no options. Then I transformed that normal plain Jane Truck info a SHOW TRUCK. I looked info on the Chevrolet Website regarding the Tire Sizes on the other Truck models. And decided on there Sport Truck Option Pickup. And that was a 20" Model, so I proceeded to Find and purchase the Tire and Wheel combinanation that would look good. The tires were my biggest concern. There are so many differerent tire manufactures. But, I learned from my Father as a child. You never regret buying the best, You get what you páy for. As All my other Truck Enthusiests were only concerned about the choice of Wheels first and didnt care about the choice of tire manufactures. I was concerned about both equally. As I got the attutude about the price of the tires from my friends. I had to explain to them, Yes, MICHELINS are more at the beginning but they will outlast the cheaper inferior tire brands. So to recap.............. 6 years later, My Chevrolet Silverado Pickup has 110,000 miles, the MICHELINS LTX M/S are still the original tires on that I out on the Truck at 500.miles. I get them rotated every other Oil Change at the dealer. And the tires are only half way through on the thread. So, as my other Truck friends have gone through there 3 rd or 4 th set of tires. I am still on my original ser that I Bought at 500 miles and still havethe other half thread to go. Thats better than money in the Bank. Spend a Little more at the beginning, because in the end. That Little extra you spent in the beginning saved you a lot more in the end.
Have had 7 LTX-MS2 tires replaced in the last year. Failures ranged from blowout at freeway speeds due to tread separation, sidewall puncture, tread penetration thru the belts by virtually anything. The 6th was a sudden sidewall failure and upon changing the tire noticed that the rip was about 4 inches long but the interesting part was the sidewall only had ONE belt--not two like printed on the tire. Previously ran 2 sets of Michelin tires over 100,000 miles each with NO failures.
I have been a faithfull customer of Michelin tires since i can remenber. my dad always told me that they were the best for yor money and he was right. i just recently bought my second set of 4 Michelin LTX M/S tires for my truck. Now my wife likes them too, that she will not have me purchase any other brand. good job michelin. keep it up
The Michelin man probably doesn't want to hear this but the last set of LTX M/S 225 70R15 tires I got 128,000 miles out of them and when my dealer could not locate another set for my Ranger they got me 235 70R15 and I've got 90,000 on these tires and they should last easily as long as the first set. I drive as a regional courier in the Kansas City area and went through OEM tires, replacement tires from other manufacturers and I will always buy Michelin's from here on out!!!!!
