Had a set of LTX All Season Tires come from the factory on my 2004 F150 brand new when I bought it, had 93,000 miles on them with normal rotation every 6,000 miles. Would highly recommend these tires, they last forever with routine maintenance. Had no problems with them.
My dealership sold me these tires telling me that I will get 60,000 miles out of them. I do strictly highways driving 98% on the time, rotate them every 5,000 miles with a once a year balance and alignment. I was surprised when another shop did an oil change and rotated the tires today. They told me the tire needs to be replaced I only have 35,000 miles on the tire so I guess there is no way I will 60,000 miles. I popped into a big name tire store to have them check the tires and they agreed that the tires need to be replaced. Now the funny thing is I also stopped at the dealership today and they told me the tires have plenty of wear on them.
My tires well exceeded my expectations. Not paying attention to how many miles I had put on them, at my last tire rotation I asked them to take a look at the tread, I thought they were looking worn. Come to find out I was 20,000 miles over the expected life of the tire. And I still did not need new tires yet.
I have purchased several sets of Michelin tires for autos, 3 trucks and 2 travel trailers and have very good results. Recently purchased 2 tires for my truck and will purchase two more next month. As far as I am concerned, Michelin tires are the best.
The Michelin LTX A/S Tire is an amazing tire for my Chevy Tahoe. Its great for overall driving and has held up extremely well. No chopping or issues of any kind kwith this tire. In fact I have always purchaed Michelin Tires for ALL my vehicles and have always had great success. I would say that any tire you choose from Michelin is a GREAT CHOICE! Sincerely, Tyler
