I have a very steep long driveway and a heavy rear wheel drive car. In the past I have owned performance snow tires which always struggled to get me up the driveway with even a coating of snow on the ground. I have had no problems getting up my driveway this winter with these tires. I even had a day when the driveway was covered with a layer of ice and I feared I wouldn't make it up, but to my surprise I was able to get up the driveway with the TCS only coming on a couple times.

My first trip with these tires was over a 5100' pass in a snow storm. Didn't need chains and never felt a slip or slide. Still snowing and still driving with them and feeling safe. I would definitely recommend these to others and buy them again myself.

I bought these a few months back. The grip is equivilant with other snow tires for dry/wet, haven't had any snow/ice yet. The greatest problem with them is the balance. My tire shop tried balancing the tires 3 seperate times and still couldn't get the shimmies out of the tire even after I put about 1k miles to "warm up" the tires. The tires I recieved were manufactured in 2009. they suggested I go to a shop with a Roadforce tire balancer to check for defective sidewalls.

I'm starting my second winter season in Wi driving on these tires. They are truly amazing. I travel about 200 miles a day in my sales/consulting position and can't let snow keep me from my appointments. With these tires I know I can make my appointments, and better yet make it home safely to my family no matter the amount of snow and ice I must drive through. I can't tell you the number of times I've seen cars loosing control and I feel like I'm glued to the road. If you are like me and need to drive in bad winter weather, these are the tires you want. Unbelievable performance in snowy/icy roads.

I purchased these tires for a 2010 Honda CR-V based upon their Consumer reports rating and have not been disappointed. I live in Western MA where the snow is heavy and weather can be fierce. The mix of the Honda AWD system and these tires has amazed me with how good these tires are. There were times last winter when I left my 4WD Jeep Cherokee in the garage because I trusted the Honda to have better traction and maneuverability. In 40 years of driving, these are the best snow tires I have owned. Note: Remember these are snow tires and should not be used in Spring or Summer when the weather is warm as the rubber compound is soft and made for cold weather only. I cannot recommend these tires highly enough for snow and ice conditions.
