Replaced the tires on our 2016 Fleetwood Flair 26D. Bought the Michelin 245/70R19.5 XPS Rib. Did a 200 plus mile road trip this past weekend. Excellent ride and easy handling. Getting it ready for a big trip for a month to Yellowstone. Looking forward to how they will do. Expecting a great ride based on this past weekend.
With ST tires I had blowouts on 5th wheel trailer. Switched to XPS Rib tires and traveled extensively for 3 yrs. Had no blowouts and pressure remained constant at 80 psi, no leaks. Replaced the tires with another set of XPS Rib tires, not due to wear but due to UV rot on sidewalls. Will not use any other brand or style of tire on my trailers.
We had 2 blowouts within 150 miles of each other on our 5th wheel trailer. The tires were identical replacements as the original tires, and only had 2,500 miles on them. We were many miles from home, and driving all the way home on these tires was not going to be an option. Needless to say, they were NOT Michelins. I've had Michelin tires on my SUV's and motorhomes in the past, and never had a single problem, and they wore beautifully. So I decided that I would replace all 4 of the tires on the 5th wheel with Michelin XPS Ribs. I can't tell you what a relief it is to be driving on Michelins again. The XPS's are wearing beautifully, and the ride is excellent. I would highly recommend XPS Ribs to anyone looking for replacement tires for their 5th wheel trailer.
This is the "best" light truck tire ever made because it is the only tire that will stand up to a RV application. I have used these on my motorhome and never had a problem in 100,000 miles. I have driven all the way to Alaska and back without any problems. The OE tires started failing after 35,000 miles and continued to fail until they were all replaced with XPSs. If you want to have a tire problem free vacation, replace the tires on your motorhome with XPSs.
The best tires I have ever owned. I have an SUV and the ride is so quiet. We can hear each other talk and there is no tire humming. Love them and will buy them again/
